De Rossi won't happen.

Also expect one last throw of the dice for cesc fabregas although it seems unlikely the move will happen.
1.) Unfortunately ozil appears to be off to arsenal when I'd have loved him here I've liked him for years, I can't see Di Maria although that's more likely than your proposed ronaldo love I can't see that at all and for real to take nani that's just not something I can see happening. Just my opinion, I for one hope I'm wrong and your right :)
2.) I think your "sensible and reliable" source is on the sauce!
Do you honestly believe we would pay the required price to sign Ronaldo. Madrid have just paid 100M euros for a player who argueably could be counted in the top 10 players in the world. What would be the price for THE best player in the world?

According to reports coming from Spain, arsenals deal with Madrid for Ozil as been called off because of an argument between Zizu and arsenal staff! Surely IF this is true we should step in last minute and put in a cheeky big regardless of yes man moyes saying we're not interested! I just have a feeling we are all going to be highly disappointed tonight with fellani only one coming through the door! And if they don't pull their fingers out that won't happen either! Bid after bid turned down just goes to prove how much of an influence SAF had in the club on and off the pitch! That being said I hope I'm wrong and we fill Central mid and then a cheeky surprise to fill the number 7 shirt!
1.) SAF didn't have the greatest record in the transfer market.
2.) Just like how he influenced that wonderful deal or Berba right. This is what you get when you leave it to the last day of the transfer window and with or without saf, clubs will turn the screws. I am glad Fellaini has put in a transfer request, shows commitment and should help us close the deal.
On another note the grand hypocrite Mourinho who said he saw nothing wrong with cubs selling players to rival clubs, has refused to loan Demba Ba to Arsenal.

Can any of the eds or anyone else shed any light on the situation with the number 7 and 9 shirt? Especially the number 7 being the most iconic shirt to ever be printed on red! Surely we are not going to leave it vacant? And Herrara nor fellani would fill them shirts? Are we in for a bit of a surprise with two more signings after the inevitable Herrara and fellani signings? Eds help me out? Any little whispers?
1.) There is no no 7 shirt so to speak . Its now the 7up shirt and is saved for our new mascot. Woodward secured another sponsorship.
2.) I wouldn't say Fellaini and Herrera are ''inevitable''. We all thought we'd have Strootman and Garay by now didn't we? I have a funny feeling about Di Maria, pure gut feeling but I can see him in red.

Sly Sports have just confirmed that arsenal are in advanced talks with Ozil over a move to London! Surely we should step in there and hijack that move now we know there is confirmed desire to move! I originally thought that moyes wanted to get the first three tough games out the way with SAF's squad in fear of loosing 2 out if the three. Now I'm not so sure! I thought DM decided to touch the squad on deadline day that way no blame would be at his feet almost and he could say that it wasn't his squad if he was too loose the games. So many possibilities out there for us, casillas would be a good shout as well as he is still being benched. DDG as #2 and anders out on loan! controa (sorry about spelling) at the back with baines, Ozil and fellani in the centre with Rooney and RVP the top two would make us formidable but I just can't see us making these marquee signings tomorrow. The best we can hope for is baines and fellani in my humble opinion. Although I hope I'm wrong.
1.) DDG is and should be number one for me
2.) Can't see why we should try to sign Casillas and bench DDG.Big Dave will be even with him in a few years imo.In fact I believe that we should do everything in order to keep him rather than buying a new 1st choice keeper, as I'm worried one day we'll lose him to Madrid or Barca.
I believe we'll announce Fellaini and Herrera tomorrow.
3.) Big Dave has earned the number one spot. He took a lot of flack in his first season but has developed into one of (if not) the best keeper(s) in the league. Give it a few more years and he will be the second best keeper in the world!
I wouldn't touch Casillas with a barge-pole. A great keeper - but clearly a divisive figure in the dressing room.
No1 seems to know. And if they say they do, they're lying. Sly sports don't even know. One minute they include headlines of united signing him. The next they say we missed out. Papers and website also have contrasting stories. I guess we won't know until a statement is made by either Manchester United or Real Madrid!
