So Di Maria has asked to leave Real? Surely we've got to go for him now?

So Shaw has signed! Next please Ed.

Finally Herrera has signed!
1.) Finally? You make is sound like it has been dragging on for weeks! Good Job all round on this one I think

Oooh look, here come the Koke rumours again!
1.) 29 May 2014 12:47:22
Sounds more like Coke to me. Knowing ManUtd, they'll rather get Pepsi for more. Lol
2.) Ferdinand will be seriously p1ssed if Koke arrives when he's been released. We know how much he rates Koke.
3.) Oh I didn't realise you meant the player, in regards to Ferdinand and the player, not so much :)

There doesn't seem to be any real sources for Vidal to Arsenal, just all the papers linking each other. Pinch of salt I reckon.

On form it's a travesty that Young hasn't made the England squad. Is there anyone better for England wide left form-wise? I can't think of anyone.

To be fair, all the Pogba reports seem to either be t uttosport saying a deal is agreed 'in principle' (how many of those have we heard?) or referencing goaldotcom saying a fee is agreed. And goal is about as reliable as a teenage ouija party. There doesn't seem to be any proper sources for it. That said, I wouldn't rule it out him going to PSG.
There is literally no way I could see this being allowed to happen.
Having watched the game, do you still stand by Nani being one of our best wing options? His performance was one of the worst I have ever seen in a United shirt. Just dire. Absolute embarrassment.

@ed002: I totally understand your reluctance to give information on this page due to repeated instances of people not accepting/ appreciating the info, but there are many on here that acknowledge their ignorance over certain matters and would welcome your input in the hope we'll be a better informed bunch in future.
Deckchairs on the titanic springs to mind, but the info would be very welcome to a significant proportion of readers.

'Rather xx than a Beckham'.
Beckham wasn't just a brand, he was an outstanding footballer. The only saving grace of him leaving was is replacing him with Ronaldo. Beckham leaving could've been a disaster were it not for other members of the class of 92 staying, and his replacement going on to be one of the greatest players ever.
For some reason, a players marketability seems to be seen as a negative. If it detracts from his game then fair enough, but if we are signing someone who is playing at the top of his game with the added bonus of being immensely marketable, then I don't see the issue?
At no point has anyone claimed that pogba signing is purely because of his marketability, merely that it offsets the (admittedly ludicrous) sum being shelled out for him.

I agree, particularly with the latest news that he said goodbye to staff etc today without knowing if it is the last time or not. If he really still hasn't been appraised of the situation either way then it's a disgusting way to treat someone.
I think his time is up, and I don't like the way he's got the team playing, but what I dislike far more is the way he's being treated this weekend, if reports are to believed. No one deserves that. And I'd have hoped we, as a club, were better than that.

To say with such certainty that Liverpool will finish above us this year just smacks of gratuitous pessimism I reckon. Klopp will improve them, partly because of his ability and partly because of the buzz his appointment has created, but we are still fundamentally the better side. Next year however, once he has a chance to make his own side, we are in real danger of that happening. Although I think that if used properly, we will still have the better squad next term.
Personally, I relish the scousers stepping up again, it's always been the best rivalry. So long as we win!
