Ed, am I right in saying that our interest in Schweinsteiger is because we can't get either of Pogba or Gundogan?

I just get the feeling gundogan prefers barca and pogba also prefers barca. If we thought there was a good chance of landing either we wouldn't want Schweini as well.

My worth if they land Pogba and Gundogan.
That team would be unbeliably strong. Brilliant passers and brilliant attackers.

Neither will get in unless you think they are going to sit Busquet and iniesta. Never in a million years are the two you are mentioning better than what they already have. They need to replace Xavi but Pogba does not fit that mold. I think they also have rakitic, who imo is better than Gundogan. Pogba is loose with his passing btw.
Was talking to a friend who are generations of barca fans and know that club inside out. He reckons the player they will come for is Herrera and said they have watched him as kid and tried to sign him but he would not come as there were too many midfielders at Barca but firmly believes he is the guy who will eventually sit in Barca's midfield.
