Hey to whichever Ed is around, was just wondering if you were aware of anything new regarding Otamendi? Ed002 previously said there was interest but it would be difficult as he only recently moved to Valencia. I feel like the internet has gone crazy re. a move to us after one or two dubious reports, but it would be great if it was true!
{Ed001's Note - there is nothing new, not right now. It is just an assumption after the comments regarding Hummels coming out of Dortmund. All that was actually said is that Hummels is no longer looking to force a move, that he will be happy to stay if no deal is done. Personally I doubt Dortmund will do a deal, as they are going to be losing Klopp and Gundogan, so they will not want too much turnover. In that case, Otamendi is the next on the list and United have been watching him closely, so it would be likely that talks will begin the moment Valencia are ready.}
