My friends in America seem to think the clubs situation will become clearer at the end of the season.

They say any news before that is premature regardless of what is said.

Also say that Bruno fernandes is considering his future with the club, The club has asked him to give one more year after this season.

As always how true and reliable thus is i cannot say, but they are never to far off.

There has been rumours over the last 6 months of Bruno moving on as Ten Hags preferred formation is a 433 which Bruno doesn't ideally suit.

Bruno is our most influential player by a country mile and good enough to play for any of the top top teams. If he decided to move there will be a ton of suitors.

We can't lose bruno, he's our best player by a mile and has to be captain next season. i'm sure we would want big money which nobody will want to pay anyway, and he has 3 years on his contract so we're in a good position.

Playing a but of devils advocate here.

I don't doubt he is the best player but does he suit what the manager is trying to achieve, for that matter does Rashford?

Liverpool fams were similarly unhappy with losinf Courtinho, but does Bruno really suit Tem Hags endgame? I strongly suspect that he does not and neither dies Rashy.

I said before the season started that I wondered whether Bruno would be part of EtH's long term plans. As a player who will always try and force the more creative (and riskier) pass which often leads to a loss of possession, I wondered how that would fit into EtH's more controlled, possession based style of play.

I felt that to get the best out of Bruno you needed to play him as a No.10 or even second striker, giving him freedom to wander and find the space. Which goes against the more team oriented approach from EtH.

For those reasons I said 7 months ago that ultimately Bruno could be sacrificed in a similar way to Coutinho at Liverpool. Selling the team's best (most individualistic) player for the long term benefit of the team.

Maybe that will still happen, yet from what I have seen this season EtH seems very happy with Bruno, played him more than any other outfield player, made him captain, always speaks glowingly about him.

He has also on a few occasions played Bruno much deeper and has even managed to get man of the match performances out of Bruno when playing deeper in midfield.

I think Bruno could be very well suited to playing the No.8 role that EtH tends to use in his team's. He's very good at progressing the ball quickly, is a tenacious and willing presser out of possession, and has excellent shooting ability to be that late arriving midfielder into the box.

Watch the ajax games when ETH was there and they were very brave with trying passes and gave the ball away frequently but their counter press won it back quite quickly. Eth is very different with Van Gaal style of possession.

Bruno influences games more than Rashford if you look at his contribution in terms of assists and goals and just what he does and unlocks things. He is a workhorse and doubt anyone comes even close to him in world football in terms of his minutes and role he is being asked to play.

Before people bring up Rashfords goals, he is suppose to score given where he is playing. Hard to score 15 goals playing a 6 or an 8.

If he actually wanted to go, Psg, Real, Bayern and top tier pl teams will line up for someone like him. Given what players are going for he 100 mill plus player imo.

Watched real vs city last night and valverde, kroos and modric were shocking and that city midfield owned them and someone like bruno would do wonders for them.

I can't see any shock Utd transfers, which let's face it this would be. We've got so many out of contract players and ones who clearly don't fit in who'll be leaving this summer I'd be stunned if one of the few who do actually make an impact go anywhere, much less our acting captain.
Saying that - I'm highly hopeful that our actual club captain will be off in a month or two! Wonder if Fernades will be named actual captain next season, or someone else like Martinez or Casemiro?

Sure you have better things to do then pick on My opinion? I think they are never far off in regards to when they said glazers preferring investment and when pogba was taking the club for a ride.

Just because things don't materialise does not mean it's a false rumour or information?
