so what are peoples hopes and expectations for the new season?
For united Id like to see further improvement in the league and a good show in the CL.
A domestic cup would also be great.
My top 4 guess in no particular order is
United arsenal city and Chelsea

Flop team of season I predict Liverpool
Surprise package Villa
relegated Luton, Sheff utd, bournmouth.

We win the FA cup
We finish second well behind city
Arsenal and Liverpool to get the other top 4 spots.

I think Liverpool will be much better.

Chelsea will flop again. Way too many signings for me, they seem unrecognisable. Will take time for them to gel.

Surprise team - I think Burnley will do well
Relegated - Luton, sheffield Utd and wolves.

We have sporadic title challenges but end up third again, behind City and Arsenal.

Liverpool probably get 4th.

Surprise teams: Burnley and Villa.

Not sure about Chelsea: probable challengers if get Caicedo and gel quickly, too 6 if a work in progress.

Our player of the season: Bruno again.

United to finish 2nd, quarters/ semi final of cl and and domestic cup final.

Top 4 arsenal, united, Liverpool, city in no particular order.
Villa take 5th CL spot if pl gets 5 spots.

No ideas on relegations, gut feel luton, Forest, Bournemouth.

I hope we a jump in the players understanding of the Ten Hag system, less of square players in rpund holes. I expect to see players getting better and developing.

I am not expecting us to challenge this year, we had sunk too low for a quick fix. I do expect us to better though. I think with all the squad changes some of which are still to happen we will perhaos take time to seee all this and might have a stronger second half than forst to the season.

I think we end up finishing 3rd. City and Liverpool ahead of us.

Arsenal in 4th with Chelsea 5th.

Luton, Sheffield Utd and Forest to go down.

Villa and Burnley both to have good seasons with Villa getting close to top 6 and Burnley close to top 10.

I hope that we/ expect us to .

Get considerably more points than last season; score more goals; concede fewer goals; avoid embarrassing defeats;hammer a few teams, and win another trophy.

I think we will finish second to City, with Liverpool and Arsenal in third and fourth.

Burnley, Luton and Everton to be relegated.

United to win the FA cup and get to the quarters in the ECL.

I can't see anyone but City again for the title. Arsenal will push and I think we'll be closer in 3rd.

4th and 5th get Champions league this year (I think) so there is room for an extra team. Newcastle languishing in 7th or 8th, Chelsea will be somewhere in the European spots, I see Liverpool 4th but at a distance to the top 3.

Luton, Bournemouth and Burnley to go down.

Biggest surprise on the upward trajectory will be Forrest, I think they'll do well.

Biggest surprise going the other way will be Brighton. They've lost some good players and replaced them with mediocre ones. I like Ferguson a lot but they'll struggle for goals and will be 12th,14th by the end of the season.

Chelsea for the League Cup.
Us for the FA Cup.
City for the league.

Good night and god bless.

Sadly. probably City again for title. us a closer second, Arsenal third and Newcastle fourth. Liverpool and Chelsea will be chaotic due to high turnover but both in the top 8. Villa on the up, Brighton waning.

Wolves, Luton and Bournemouth to go down.

A run to the knock out stages of Champions League for us.

I could see City dropping in form this year. Losing Gundogan and Mahrez could be a bit too much. Especially if Bernardo goes as well.
I do rate Kovacic, but he is not as good as Gundogan and seems to get injured quite a lot.
Guardiol is a good signing, but I don't see that signing improving them too much, as they already had a lot of quality in defence.

All said, they might still win it, but I feel this season, more than any other, it is up to other teams to put up a good fight. Can't see City making those freak over 90 points season.

Anyway, I expect us to challenge and be up there, perhaps not quite winning it, but at least be as close as Arsenal was. 1/ 4 CL would be great, but it always depends on the draw, look how far Inter got last season.
Perhaps winning a domestic cup.

Id say United, Liverpool and City top 3 (in no particular order), Arsenal probably 4th. Newcastle, Chelsea, Spurs and Villa next 4 spots. Spurs and Chelsea might have better seasons than some would expect, simply because they can focus on league.

Wolves, Sheffield and Bournmouth to drop.
