Andersen has been brilliant the first two games of the season for Palace. Targeting someone like that at the beginning of the window would have been good business. He was a standout performer last season and I think he would make the step up quite easily. Infuriating that we are stuck with the pile of ? that is Maguire, especially when the clown is the captain.

He was standout for Fulham too.
But getting a player off crystal palace is generally a very expensive affair.

I’ve just seen a clip of all his duels yesterday with Nunez and it’s brilliant. Poor from Nunez to react of course.

Agree on the comment in regards to Fulham. Was really surprised when a bigger club didn’t go in for him but he’s proven how good he is at Palace.

His passing is also vergy good from what I saw in the 1st game, long or short. Did'nt realise how big he was until I saw that he's taller than Nunez and was only saying to my son yesterday how we should have brought him in.

He was excellent last season and has been a great purchase for Palace. As a player his skillset seems like he would fit very well with how EtH looks to play. Comfortable on the ball, expansive passing range, good reading of the game, strong in defensive duels, maybe lacks a yard of pace, but his good positioning means he's rarely exposed.

I'd be very happy if the club was able to agree a deal to sign him, especially if it included AWB heading back the other way.

Given Maguires form, Varane's injuries, Lindelof not being good enough and Martinez new to the league someone like Andersen would significantly strengthen our defence.

We can’t bring another defender in surely. Maybe one for the next window. I’d give Bailly a chuck alongside Varane. Thought he showed pretty well in pre-season, give him a chance.

Nathan Collins is another one who i believe will be going for major money in a couple of seasons and could have been snapped up at a very reasonable price this summer .
