Hi eds and fellow reds,

I need advice on something. During the last international break, I asked here 'Who everyone's preferred option was should Ole leave or be sacked by the club? '

By posting this, I somehow seems to have foreshadowed his sacking as utd's results have not been good ever since the last international break. I am looking for suggestions on how to undo this.

I don’t think it was your fault, these ups and down will always happen under Ole whoever the players may be so don’t beat yourself up ?.

When did I say that I was?

My mind was made up after the Istanbul game last season, there have been ups and downs since then and he will sometimes do ok and sometimes won’t and it will always be like that. I’m not one for spending my whole life calling people names and ignoring all of the good things they have done just because I want rid of him, I can see the good he has done but can also see his major limitations, I think you’d have to be crazy to think Ole is an amazing manager. Once they gave him a new contract in the summer I felt like we were stuck with him so no point coming on a forum moaning about him the whole time, I tend to just comment on the games as I see them as nothing we say on here will make any difference.

It’s clearly not good enough and any improvements will be despite Ole not because of him, I’m struggling to see an obvious replacement right now, if there was one I think he would be under a lot more pressure than he is.

What tends to happen when Ole is under this pressure is that he goes on a good run of results and turns it around, I hope that happens, but his tactics are so poor that I can’t see it this time and it could be the beginning of the end. Unfortunately by then this season will be a write off and it’s a shame as the squad should be good enough to challenge for trophies.

I only ask because you said close to the end of last season that you and your mates you go to the games with were happy with the manager.

I didn’t, I said my mates did and thought I was being negative when I was suggesting he isn’t good enough yet people on here seemed to be calling me an Ole lover when it’s not the case.

Good (ish) memory though I guess.
