Our captain is once again innocent until proven guilty, good news I am sure you will all agree, if he has done what he was 'convicted' of within 3 days then fair enough, but I would like to base my judgment on a fair trial, a lot of what is being said doesn't ring true, fingers crossed Harry is telling the truth.

I’m not sure why you think all available evidence can’t be available for someone to go to trial when it clearly isn’t a complex case.

47 you sound like you have an agenda sometimes. It's a fact that he is innocent until proven guilty. The whole thing was a farce from the start, his legal team were given a 50 page dossier of allegations and given hours to prepare, which is unheard of. On appeal it will be dropped, I am willing to stake money on it. What sort of prosecution lawyer implies that if Maguire issues an apology the case could be dropped? The whole judicial system in Greece is very wish washy, I know from first hand experience. There is also a train of thought that he was given an automatic guilty verdict because the judge was annoyed he wasn't there to give evidence. Its a joke.

You have to take the Greek judicial system at face value. Deciding that it's a corrupt system yet a rich celebrity can't bribe his way out of trouble is quite contradictory.

Because you've heard stories in Greece of police being corrupt does not mean for one second that the whole system is corrupt.

No one has an agenda against him. I'm sure many of us have gotten into scuffles or fights on a night out, what I'd imagine most havnt done is assaulted a police officer and then attempted to bribe them.

Something tells me if his appeal is denied and it is a guilty verdict, many just won't believe it.

I just read your posts and they're always seemingly wanting a bite or just anti United. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the way they come across.

He's legally innocent until proven guilty, the appeal has been accepted and on retrial it'll be overturned I'm certain.

The system in Greece is very wishwashy, they take disrespectful comments or actions very seriously and move cases along at speed accordingly.

Its a joke system, my parents were born there. From what has been released there is very little to prove him guilty apart from the word or 3 officers and no I know how bent the Greek authorities can be.

47 I'm under no illusions about where we are and the backlash on here when we lose is laughable. We are a good team, on our day we can beat anyone but we lack consistency, I think some of our players get unfair criticism from posters and Eds alike but that's just because it's United they're playing for.

Ludwig had they been Greek nationals it would have been dragged out. Foreign folk are treated differently but the law in Greece.

You’ve kind of developed a siege mentality since Fergie left because things have gone wrong and become precious over any signs of improvement in the way you play.

In honestly have you looked head and shoulders above the few teams below in the football everyone has played this season.

I would say 100% no. I have to be equally realistic with Arsenal and it’s not like I can brag or make big of how much better than you we are or even if we too have the right manager in place.

Ed I honestly believe that. Because of the success we had over a sustained period and the fact a lot of people didn't like that we had all the money until Chelsea came along we are hated by many, that's just the way it is.

If Aubamayangadingdong has a few bad games it would be brought up but in the way pogba or a Martial does. That's just because United sell papers and get clicks etc.

Agreed on the siege mentality but I think my first point about rival fans hating us is the reason why.

And I also agree that apart from a sustained period after lockdown we were no better than Arsenal or Spurs, certainly no better than Chelsea.

{Ed047's Note - I think the hatred was in part to how a lot of United fans behaved during that period too SAF, it’s the age old saying of how you treat people on the way up is normally how you get treated on the way down.

It’s natural to be euphoric when you’re winning and a few of the Liverpool guys are now going over board but I guess some can’t help it.

Xhaka went through it to when he got pelters for walking off the pitch at the Emirates. Press and fans are a nightmare! 🤣

Ultimately we’re all trying to get back to the top, you’ve not made a great fist of it so far and we’re currently following the same path.

Let’s hope we get both the players we want and starting getting back up there in the mix mate because it’s been way too long for both clubs.
