Another very positive showing today. Interesting some complaining what more can anyone want?

Going on this tour it was all doom and gloom, compare this to last years tour and it's light years ahead. Players look happy, younger lads are taking opportunities, the football has been good and we can see a very obvious style. What more do people want?

Great for Gomes to score, the kid has a lot of talent, if he can model his game on Bernardo silva then he will have one hell of a career and his size won't get in the way.

We all know the restrictions on certain players in this squad ie Matic and Mata's pace etc so when we play two different sides in each half there will be difference in performances. But for the love of god, please look for some positives instead of constant negatives. It looks to have been a great pre season, and the academy looks to be thriving.

Amen couldn't agree more. The difference to last year is staggering. Jose was sour and bad tempered, regularly slagging off the defence, creating a mood of despondency. Ole remains a breath of fresh air focusing on the positives, giving youngsters their chance and it's showing on the pitch.

The squad probably lacks depth but I'm pretty excited and hope we see the youngsters integrated into the squad and team.

People are entitled to their opinions but some see what they want to see.

Goodness me, I pitch up here three or four times a week and meet the same posters with the same monster negativity. The manager blah, Sanchez blah, transfers blah, and up pops Caolan with a post that actually makes SENSE regarding where we are as a team.

Well put Caolán. Good to hear a bit more positivity on here amongst all the doom mongers.

Also pleased to see the stat was maintained of an academy graduate scoring or assisting every goal of the tour so far.

Very positive tour in my eyes, lots of energetic young players that suits the style that Ole wants to play, lovely footy to watch at times, Bissaka is exactly what we needed there and because of his atlethism and positioning he gives our whole defense a new dimension, McTommy is becoming a more compose player by the games. We still need more players in certain positions and i'm pretty sure Ole knows that but its been great watching all the kids grabbing the opportunity, Most impressed by Greenwood. On the other side well Rojo and Young are still liabilities, Matic and Mata's legs are gone, bailly can't catch a good spell, he seems to be hanging around with Jones too much. Overall very, very pleased with what i have seen this pre season, of course there is so much to improved still but compare to last pre season this one has been phenomenal.
