I believe its just a matter of time before we agree a deal for Ugarte, McTom and Lindelof even though he is on crutches at the moment will both definitely be going, Sancho i think will also be gone before the end of the transfer window and depending on if we are knocking the goals in, if we aren't finding the net another striker will be brought in.

Strikers would be extraordinarily expensive this late in the window. We have two perfectly capable players who can cover that position and I would rather we give opportunities to Wheatley and Chido this year.

I wouldn't rule it out, someone with a bit more experience maybe on a loan deal, we used to always have four strikers in the squad and that went down over the years after Fergie retired till we only had one in the team.
Liverpool have four strikers as do a lot of the teams in the Prem, we need to start scoring goals in games, hojlund is out till end of september so again we have one recognised striker.

To be fair, Jim, we had 4 strikers under SAF because we played 442. I can't see how we could keep 4 happy using ETH's preferred formation with 1 up top, no matter how many games we have this season.

If he persists playing this 4222 formation you usually play it with 2 strikers, i understand what you are saying Nou and you are right but still think we need 3 strikers, Hojlund seems to get injured easily.

We ain't going to pay a fortune for one but but if something presents itself i am sure it will be explored and should be but not at the expense of a holding midfielder or left back.
