Finally watched the westham game. Not great but bruno is the culprit of just losing his guy for that first goal.

He was also the at fault imo for the bayern goal. although he runs and puts in an effort he gets caught so many times defensively.

Garnacho needs to get dropped and rash staring imo. Maybe we finally see dialo for the one legged antony. Here is to hoping.

Dialo had a fairly good spell with Sunderland. I don't think he is at premier league standard. But he wouldn't be the only one in that team below the standard.

Whilst I think Garnacho needs to have his workload managed, bringing Rashford in, given his obvious attitude, would be an error. Garnacho looks our most dangerous player but needs to improve end product. Rashford needs wake up calls.

I commented on Bruno and after showing some resilience at Liverpool we just looked disorganised at West Ham. I would not have brought him back in. Needs 2 CM behind him and a different Captain.

I think Garnacheo is million miles off being ready to start regularly, decision making, strength to name two things that are work in progress. The issue we have is our other options are also struggling!
I expect rashford to play v villa due to pace and I’m hoping mctom is left out because I’d like to see us keep the ball and pass forwards!

Garnacho has been worse than Anthony in every respect over last 3 or 4 games.
Lost the ball more.
Made less key passes
Made less successful dribbles
Been dribbled past 3 times as much as Anthony.
Won less challenges.
Granacho has not been our most dangerous player he has been poor.
He needs a break he is on just turned 19.
The lad has got got potential nobody is disputing that.
But as a young inexperienced player he will fluctuate in terms of his performance.
He is miles better than Anthony imo but has been worsethan him recently based on all tyke key parameters over last few games.

Garnacho is the only one who has run at opposing defences. Whilst I agree he needs a rest , he most certainly has not been worse than Antony. How many games since Antony assisted or scored? How about that stat? How many games since Antony even passed to our CF?

We should not be placing so much on Garnacho but frankly the shambles of a club only has an option of Rashford who is on another planet right now.

In the past 4 games garnachos stats for passing and every other measurable are behind Anthony.
You hate hearing it but it's true. You just can't being yourself to acknowledge that which is quite pathetic.
I'm not an Anthony fan at all. I know the longer term stats but you say garnacho has been our best attacking player recently which is not true your looking at the kid with Rose ruined glasses and looking at others doing better over last 4 games but can't bring yourself to recognise that it's hilarious????.

For some reason you give marks for Garnacho running at defenders. What's the point of it he loses the ball umpteen times and let's say he gets through a couple of times, does he score or assist.

Most managers would pull you as the risk reward is skewed in the wrong way. Offcourse if you keep trying 50 times you get through eventually but the other 49 times you are costing us. This is not a Garnacho put down but cmon.

There is bunch here who go crazy when rash loses the ball 5 or 6 times a game but somehow Garnacho is okay to do it 15 times a game.

We have sucked without rash scoring, he needs to play and get his from back and some confidence.

We should win today!

I will support a young player trying his hardest, whilst being constructive, you clearly can’t do that.

Anthony has in our last few games Redman. Be made key pass to garnacho to put him 1 on 1, should have been assist. He played nice pass to mainoo who played in hojland at anfield. He is working hard (this shouldn't be worth noting, but sadly it is) .

I think you have to give garnacho the game time right now, and hopefully he can work some things out while playing.

Rashford doesn't deserve to be in the match day squad the way he strolled around the pitch last game. I would drop him unless there was a very valid reason (still unwell but forced substitution? )

I'm not sure that we have had any good attacking player performances redman.
You are not being constructive you are just making things up.
You criticise one player for losing the ball consistently and just cutting in and shooting which is exactly what garnachi had done for the last 4 games.
I think garnacho has 1 assist since September starting more games than any of our forwards.
Do you think that is a good return?

It’s more than Antony who has zero of everything but has defended competently.

Garnacho is a young player who needs time. I try with young players giving their all to not be over critical. I think Garnacho deserves and needs a rest but can’t agree with Rashford coming in. I would rather play Regullion and Shaw on the left.

I have every right to expect more from an £85m Brazil international than a just 19 year old kid. That’s where I sit. I see Garnacho making mistakes but saw it with Giggs and Ronaldo, it takes time and criticising them, especially when playing in that team at the moment which must be extremely tough, is short sighted. Garnacho isn’t in a confident winning team managed by SAF, being eased in. It’s the deep end and I will give players like him more time because of it. You yourself think he has the talent and I think he does. Kids make mistakes, Mainoo did but that’s the price of playing them and picking them out for criticism on social media when they are doing their best is poor.

However this is a banter site, you are entitled to your opinion, me to mine. Let’s not get back to what you were doing before where others can’t have an opinion.

With red man on this. Garnacho far more of a threat than Antony. I think stats can lie. You can interpret them in different ways. Like ten hag saying onana is 2nd best keeper on stats. The lads hopeless.
As for Bruno, he's obviously a talented player but for me he makes the wrong decisions 80 percent of the time. Forever giving the ball away and what annoys me most his how he goes down from a tiny knock and gets the fans riled. I also think he's a coward.
Here's hoping sor Jim gets the right structure in place and the next few years we get better in every department.

Let’s face it our whole forward line has been non existent this season

I get where Redman is coming from, Garnacho at least try’s to beat a man but is still way off

Like I’ve said many times before doesn’t really matter who starts at the moment there all as bad as each other

The biggest question is if we put Anthony up for sale who would be stupid enough to buy him

I honestly don’t see any takers, we have another Martial situation with him, hanging around for 5 years going on loan where we pay most of his wages

Embarrassing we are.

Tom for every yang there is a yang. Stats can be deceiving but so can the eye.
My argument is not that Anthony has been good far from it. But that in past 4 games garnacho has been as bad or worse he looks jaded.
None of our forward have been good for the whole season despite the odd flash.

I'm with Redman. Garnacho even when not on form or quite doing it he always looks dangerous, like he could score or assist.
He can go left or right and can cross the ball. And he's so young. He's going to be an amazing player.
Although I like Anthony's work rate he's sadly nowhere near good enough with his end product. Until he can learn to sometimes go right and cross the ball with his wrong foot then he'll never be good enough for us IMO.
