I think one of the main problems with how we play, is that none of our wide players get in behind the defense.

Every time Martial or Rashford receive the ball it's always to their feet, and they're hugging the touch line.


All top teams that keep the ball have players getting in behind. Liverpool, Barcelona and Man City all do this very well.

currently, Our wing play is dreadful and it needs to be addressed. Same with our Strikers coming deep.

martial and rash are both strikers imo .
wasted out wide and it effecting there form.

Martial could be a good wing-forward, but is wasted if he has to focus on defensive work. Rashford is much better as a striker, and is being wasted on the wing at a time we have two poorly performing central strikers.

I've been saying for a year that we don't have wingers. Martial and rashford are NOT wingers. Our team lacks a good winger a good playmaker and a great cb.

Nobody really plays wingers tho. Are Coutinho, Eriksen and Firminho wingers? Even the likes of Mane and Hazard and Walcott are not conventional wingers and cut inside. Besides how about Mkitaryan. And for your playmaker how about Mata or Herrera? Comes a point where you're just spunking money for the sake of it.
