I don't understand the excitement about Di Maria to united.
50 million and averages a goal every 6 games. Wonderful ability, poor in possession. Di maria won't answer uniteds problems. He will offer pace but wouldn't fans prefer other options?

Balague reckons a minimum of €40m (£32m). I suspect it will be more than that, but not as high as £50m.

Di Maria would answer one of MU's problems. Speed in attack. Vidal and Di Maria would solves several issues.

So I am hoping MU can sign these pair. It will be tough mind.

I think he would be a fantastic signing for us. We currently have no pace, no flair, no excitement. Di Maria would offer all of that. He runs and runs and runs, which is why everyone loved Welbeck but Di Maria has a lot more in the locker. If we sign him AND a decent CM then Ed will have done a good job.

I think he would be a good signing as he is a vast improvement on young/nani/valencia BUT unless we rectify our cm problem nothing will change this season

First of all since being at real he averages a goal just over every 4 games something our current wingers don't come near and averages a assist every 2 games that's league and champions league not including

Now if, we do, sign him I'm not saying he be answer to our problems but he will improve us a lot plus he be a world class signing not something I can say about any of your signings

DiMaria would be most effective for us on the left of a 433 in my opinion. That, for me, is his best position. He isn't a tough tackler, but he can run all day and hounds players out of possession. He would be an excellent addition for the right money.

The only thing that would worry me about di maria is how he would stand up to the tougher tackling etc in the premier league because in spain as soon as you try any sort of tackle it seems to be a foul where as you can still get away with some crunchers over here

Hes genuinly world class, real madrids outstanding performer last year.this is an absolute bargain, nearly as good a deal as andy carrol for 35 million
