It appears a protest is being planned against Mason Greenwood returning to the playing staff at United.

The kid should be given the chance to redeem himself. None of us know the full story, supporters or detractors. All I know is things are not always as they seem in life.

While I don't know whether or not he's guilty, whether or not he's a bad apple, whether or not there's more to the story than we know, what I do know is that I'll still love my team.

Yes, I certainly won't ever cheer him on or sing his name, don't expect to ever see him play again for England and still believe he'd be better off going abroad, but his presence won't stop me enjoying what I choose to watch - football.

If he does return, irrespective of whether or not he's guilty, he had better behave in future.

Sure, I understand the protests and how they might feel, but a group or women (or men) can't speak for the whole population.

If United choose to reinstate the little worm I will respect the decision but will NEVER respect him. I have lost respect for any player that has previously offended. Mason is a loose cannon and will offend again if he hasn’t already.

I will, like others, continue to support this great club as United is bigger than any player or fan. I hope I am wrong for the clubs sake but I cannot help thinking this will come back to bite them.

It’s not the same environment as it once was and people including sponsors don’t like this kind of exposure.
