So the predictions competition is now closed. This year we have had 131 entries and I can’t see any 2 that are the same so hopefully we will have a single winner this year.

In terms of an overall summary of our views, 66 have plumped for Chelsea as Champions followed by 37 for us, 21 for Arsenal and 8 for City. Views on our finishing position are split fairly evenly across the top 4 with 6 people thinking we will be 5th.

Almost half the posters think we will win the FA Cup whilst 6 have predicted us wining the Champions League. Favourite picks for Champs League are Barcelona with 68 followed by Bayern with 30 and then Madrid with 18.

74 of us have plumped for Aguero as top scorer, 22 picked Rooney and 13 Costa. Every other player picked was in single figures including Benzema and Lewandowski. Perhaps some posters know something we don’t.

However, things get interesting when we get to the bottom 3. Whilst a couple of posters have taken a punt on the top scorer, the 7 who have tipped Boro and Hull to go down are stretching things a tad. The usual suspects dominate but 24 have Villa going down, 11 have picked West Brom and 1 poster has Spurs finishing bottom whilst 1 has Southampton finishing bottom.

Finally, I have also entered but as I control the sheet I need to post mine on here so there is a record of them and I can’t simply claim I won!

Ajh, I'm almost certain I'm one who has put Boro to go down you know. When I was filling in my predictions I was steaming pissed at the poolside on Cyprus. And for some reason the next day I'm thought I think I've put Boro in. Blame the ale. I meant Bournemouth haha
