Good Morning ed002

Are we interested in signing Inacio from sporting Lisbon and where do you believe is the most likely destination for him if he moves.

{Ed002's Note - Goncalo Inacio (CB) Watched by scouts from a number of PL sides, including Liverpool and Manchester United, with the latter declaring an interest but they do have preferred options. The player is open to a move to Manchester United. Sporting will not be keen to do business with Liverpool although the club could potentially pay his Release Clause in a single payment and try to force the situation if the player is interested. The other sides to declare an interest are Newcastle and PSG, but PSG have a plan over another player. Real Madrid offer a wildcard option. Sporting would rather not sell and are looking to a new contract and an increased release clause. Newcastle have begun talks with Sporting in order to be able to speak directly to the player and to understand if there is flexibility in the payment schedule - but it will go nowhere. Arsenal interest departed with the signing of Timber. The player has also been offered to Chelsea by his representative but they have preferred options for a long-term Silva replacement.}

Ed, you may not say but from a pure nosey point of view, why won’t Lisbon be keen to do business with that lot?

{Ed002's Note - Try the Liverpool page.}

Ports, I think they tapped up Ugarte (something they seem to be very prolific at), turned the players head and then tried to force Sporting into taking an offer below his release clause (€52 million) . PSG eventually agreed a deal and now Liverpool aren't on Sportings Christmas Card list.

They should just pay way over the top for everyone, like a certain other club have turned into master of doing. No one minds doing business with us ???.
