Hi Ed, with Palhinha looking to be almost done to Bayern. Could Scott Mctominay be an option to Fulham, to make space in United’s midfield for signings?

{Ed002's Note - Fulham have a very specific replacement in mind and a couple of options. They are already in discussions.}

Thank you Ed. Do you know if anyone is interested in Mctominay or where he stands this summer given he will go into the final year of his deal?

{Ed002's Note - Scott McTominay (CM) If available at the right price, West Ham, Fulham and Galatasaray will be interested. I suspect he will stay.}

I like Scott, he may not be a starter but he would be a great squad player. 100% effort, fully committed, great attitude, and a far better player than many give him credit for.

Great attitude, 100% effort, fully committed, but a very poor passer of the ball, too slow in possession and not good enough.

I wish other players had his mentality, but ultimately I think he needs to find his level at a club like a Fulham or an Everton where he’d do well and may end up being club captain.

{Ed025's Note - im with you Wazza, he would do a good job for an average mid table side but should be nowhere near a side looking to challenge for honours..

I still say he could do a job as second or third choice striker. Hell, in a pinch he could do a job anywhere down the spine of the team. Probably at fullback too.

Thank you Ed! Are United in a situation where they need to sell him or Casemiro to make space before they attempt to buy Ugarte?

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that.}
