I am a Liverpool supporter so I fully accept that you may feel that I have no business being involved in your current concerns over LVG. I just know from our time with Brendan how bad it can be when you have the wrong guy in charge.

My feeling right now is that the man should look to bring in for next season is Gary Neville. That may sound a bit of a risk but Gary has shown since being at Sky that he understands football and more importantly he understands your club. He knows what is required and how you should play. I think he would be the best chance for you to bring back the Fergie legacy which has up until now been totally wasted.

You might feel it is a big risk with his lack of managerial experience but remember Pep was perfect for Barca. I can see the same thing with Gary and

Seeing Liverpool under Klopp and United under Neville would be brilliant.

{Ed001's Note - Pep Guardiola had been managing the Barca B team, in the equivalent of the Spanish Championship. He was fairly experienced.}

We are in such a sorry state of affairs when Liverpool and Chelsea fans give us pointers and advice ed . At least Mr Gunn was not a graduate from Mighty REDS charisma college😆😆.

Fair enough I can fully understand that you will not be happy to accept any comments from Liverpool supporters. It is just that under Brendan we were being suffocated by a manager with a big ego and you seem to be in the same situation now.

If I am absolutely honest I hope that you stick with LVG as I am pretty confident that under Klopp we be going ahead of you sooner rather than later.

In an ideal world I would like to see a strong Liverpool and a pretty strong United fight it out for the league and give the likes of Citeh Arsenal Chelski and Spurs a reminder of who the two top clubs in England are.

Anway it is the season oh goodwill and I would like to wish Man Utd supporters a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Love how Liverpool fans think they are going to be amazing now, you would think they would have learnt from all the false dawns over the years, just keep your mouthes shut, lay low and see what happens, all that ever happens when Liverpool fans start mouthing off is that in the end they look silly.

{Ed025's Note - seems to me like the christmas spirit has stalled somewhere on the east lancs road GDS.. :)

Tommy. I agree with your comments. If lvg was in charge of Liverpool, I would want him to stay there for 25 years. The fact whether us United fans like it or not, is that lvg has damaged our club and our reputation, he's antagonised the fans and annoyed the players. Non of them play with a smile any longer.
Klopp is a superb manager and he will improve Liverpool. Of that there's no doubt. He has more charisma, humility and intelligence in his little finger than lvg will every have.
I'm hoping we get Pep or Ancelotti with Gary neville as assistant. I think that will get the club back where we deserve to be. But I'm not holding my breath!

The problem for you is that the decline under LVG is gradual rather than you falling off a cliff. Your league position shows you to be competitive and the owners see the money coming in so they do not see the need to make changes. It will only be when you miss out on the top four that it will strike home.

As time goes by other sides will regroup and build stronger and you will find it tougher to get back to the top.

How long you will suffer depends on the owners who look to have limited knowledge about football rather than commercial matters.

We have been through the same thing but we have finally got the right man at the top.

It breaks your heart as a supporter when you see you club being led by the wrong guy. You just know it is wrong but there is nothing that you can do about it. It is bloody miserable and it seems that there is no answer. In some ways you hope it gets worse so that the owners are forced to make a change. What a mess!

Tommy,

I would like to say I told you so, but I'm guessing you probably won't be back on here today. When will you learn to keep your mouth shut? As a Liverpool fan it always comes back to haunt you.
