We've signed some great players but I'm concerned that LVG will take months to find the right formation (just like last year). From his selections so far, you have to wonder if Smalling and Hererra are 1st choices and having bought one of the best wide players in Europe last year, he is playing him centrally. Who am I to question such an experienced Manager but surely with the players we have bought we should play players in their best positions. If Ronney starts as CF, we need 2 wide paced players who can quickly join him. This then allows us to play 3 centrally, Schneiderlin, Hererra, and 1 of Carrick and Schweinsteihpger. This can be 451 but quickly change to 433 with Hererra also pushing on. We would still have Mata, Januzaj, Pereira and Lingard as other attacking options.

I do worry that he tinkers and fiddles too much. He's great entertainment but sometimes you just need to play players in their best positions and let them play.

He will have a very tight rope around his neck. If he wants to screw around with playing blind at CB it is his call as a manager but ti will ned badly for him. Blind well get humped by some of the attacking players in PL in that position.

I guess we will have to wait and see but believe me they will pull the plug on him by christmas if we are in anyway struggling.

The thing is AJH a manager doesn't have the time to tinker in this league. You lose a few games and then it's a struggle to climb back up the hill. Let's hope he gets it right from the start.

I am just speechless by the stuff he says. he seems to have no regard for any player and seems to think he can publicly just hammer them. I am waiting to see who is next and how many players he will really upset. The results better go his way or he is dead man walking and will have no friends at this rate.

People criticised moyes for saying we needed 5 or 6 world class players. LVG has spend more and bought more than that and still seems to get huge satisfaction by publicly taking a dump on them.
