Putting spurs on the back burner its FA Cup Monday and I really fancy us. I think our current style of play has a way of nullifying Arsenals strengths and if we get our shooting boots sorted we can get through the round. If Shaws still "tired" we can play with Blind LB and Carrick starting, he offers that experience in games like this and with Rojo and Smalling pairing up would be IMO our strongest defensive option

Rzomcr - do you know if Shaw is injured again or was he just given a precautionary rest against Newcastle. Had a look online but couldn't see anything?

Last I heard was Saturday he was rested because he was tired, with no further update i'm assuming its the same reason.

You think it would be a good idea to play Blind at LB against some of the quickest wingers in the league??? I think that could well be the worst thing we could do, he would get torn apart.
