Reports from the Italian press that Juve have turned down a €43 offer from Utd for Vidal. We will now bid for Carvalho.

I've been saying for a while now that I believe Carvalho fits what LVG wants more than Vidal, and while I'm not stupid enough to say I wouldn't want a world class star like Vidal, I will say that I won't be terribly disappointed if we get Carvalho instead. Now if we get neither. .

Its a no brainer.
Vidal - 43mill or Carvalho AND De Jong(for instance) - less than 43 mill.
Would love to see Vidal at UTD but Carvalho fits the bill just as much for me.

Carvalho as a package will be much cheaper than Vidal. He's only on a grand a week at Sporting. MU could probably get him to agree to £25k a week. Vidal would be on 6-8 times that amount.

I'd take Cuadrado/Hummels and Carvalho over Blind and Vidal (who MU are heavily linked to).

Tbh I'd take both of them ( Vidal and Carvalho) rid cleverly, ando and put Fletcher as 5th choice behind Carrick. So Herrera, Vidal and Carvalho in MF, should injuries then carrick/ fletcher.
