I don't know if I am just being too optimistic but get the sense we will announce multiple signings in the next 48 hours with a big player coming in.

I think Fellaini will be the biggest player coming in, litteraly. I also suspect a higher caliber player to be brought in

I agree about fellaini but a lot depends on bale going to Madrid as they will have to offload some players to fund the transfer.

I will be shocked if we sign anyone of note aside from Fellaini. Would love us to bring in another player, but I just don't see it happening.

Whilst you have to accept not everyone wants to come to Manchester or indeed play for us the number of transfers involving quality players in this window suggests to be either;

- Our transfer team miss the boat a lot.
- We don't want to spend money.
- Or we simply lack ambition on the football side of the business.

Coentrao, Fellaini are joining and likely one other as yet unknown before the window. Ozil or Modric is a maybe but then Moyes and his liking for German football maybe looking at emerging talent from the Bundesliga

Yeah, it has been plainly clear that we want to sign Fabregas, Ronaldo etc but we don't half lack ambition. The reason we have missed out on targets so far is because our targets have been top class and valued highly by their clubs. We could have gone in for lower profile players and had guaranteed signings but we didn't, we went for the best and, thus far, it hasn't worked out.

I hope you are right. There are strong rumours suggesting we want Luiz. He is a better version of Garay, but Barcelona are very keen on him. Perhaps he will be used in a swap deal for Rooney? Perhaps Luiz & Mata and we offer a bit of cash? We can only hope ;)

Sydney! Why the hell would we want a liability like sideshow Bob? And if (lets hope its not true) we are getting Fellani we will have to sack a physio/coach and replace them with Vidal Sassoon.

If we are going big I would like to see Ozil & De Maria
