Hi everyone.
I am planning to visit Old Trafford next year to watch the Manchester derby.
I need some help regarding the purchase of tickets for the match.
The matchday VIP ticket is going to cost 450-650 pound, is it worth buying or should I try for a ticket through the membership route?
Also is there any other option for purchasing a ticket for that match.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

£650! Do you get a bucket of champagne served by this years Ms Boddingtons?

2.) 16 Jun 2019 14:25:32
If you can’t get a ticket from the club do not buy the vip as they are a complete rip off. A ticket from a tout would be cheaper probably between £200-£250.

Normal ticket price is from pound 35 but you have to take the official membership of the club first and then there will a draw for the tickets for the man City game.
I am also thinking of taking the museum and stadium tour.
Are there some good places to visit in Manchester that can be covered in day?

4.) 16 Jun 2019 15:43:10
The National Football Museum is a good place to while away an hour or two.

I've done the VIP package a few times and they are ok. I've only ever done the red cafe ones though. The meal is ok, there's always an ex player there, a quiz and stuff. The main advantage is the guarantee of a decent enough seat for a game you'd like to see.

6.) 16 Jun 2019 16:29:56
I'm interested in doing a legends tour.

There's a few things in town to see. The Lowry maybe or the imperial war museum.

I know people who used work in the VIP area, half of them don’t even bother watching the game, just watch it on the tv in the lounge getting fat arsed.

{Ed002's Note - It keeps the "ordinaries" (as we call them) away.}

Anyone who used Android, I would thoroughly recommend Mobdro. I don't think it is that well know, but really is excellent.

You download it as a app, though it is not in the android play store. Go direct to Mobdro.com and download it from there.

Quick and easy to download, and completely safe. There are loads of categories to stream eg music, films and of course SPORT. Once you go into sport - all the main channels are there - sky channels, BT Spprt, Bein Sports etc.

Relly is worth a look and all completely free and safe, and best of all there are no adverts.

I saw the under 20 world cup quarterfinal between uruguay and spain last night and would like to report on our only signing so far this summer"guillermo verela".
he played for the whole 120 minutes.
he is a strong lad and very well built.
he is also quite tall for a full back.
the most impressive thing about him is his speed and agility. last night most of the attack from spain's side were from left side and verela was really good to counter the left wingers of spanish side. he always takes on his man and many times he marked 2 players on his own.
he made numerous tackles and clearing headers which was good to see.
now to his shortcomings.
his positioning is not so good and it leads him to making dangerous challenges which might harm his team.
also he is always eager to attack much like rafael which sometimes leaves his flank open to counter attacks.
so in a nutshell he is a very good prospect who can turn into a world class fullback if he works hard on removing his shortcomings and might challenge rafael for the starting position in 2-3 years time.

1.) He didn't play the whole 120 mins he got subbed off in the 105 min

Last night defines the true meaning of MANCHESTER UNITED.
We lost but I can not blame any of the players for it.
We made Real play to our tactics and they were not close to threatening our goal let alone scoring until the red card.
One thing is now sure though, we are going to buy some quality in midfield for next season and we will win the champions league next year.
UNITED TILL I DIE.

PRATEEK

1.) The true meaning of MANCHESTER UNITED? we lost. Brilliant you couldn't make it up

2.) Kloots right, we lost last night, that's not the true meaning of man utd! its winning and we were robbed from doing that. The FANS showed why we make our club so great, kept singing throughout and deserved more. But the true meaning of manchester united is to rise from loses and controversy and win our next game and title!
Thats what we do and what makes us so great!

3.) Yes KLOOT the true meaning of MANCHESTER UNITED.
Let me give it to you in detail because a true fan like you may not be able to understand these things easily.
What I meant was the way we played once we were a player down, the support of the old trafford crowd, the fear shown by real madrid in the final minutes of losing.
Yes we lost, but not on our own account. Last night just made me realize how blessed I am to be a supporter of MANCHESTER UNITED.

Don't be so negative all the time, try to use MANCHESTER UNITED as positive thing in your life, if it doesn't work go to some "plastic fan from outside manchester" like me and we would teach you how to do it.

Cheers. :)
