The Sporting club president has come out and said " I can guarantee that Victor Gyokeres will not leave for 60m euros plus 10m euros because I never promised that".
He reckons he only said they would not demand the full 100m euros release clause.
Think any possible deal for him will be long and complicated, at best.

sporting seem like a temperamental bunch, weren't long ago their fans were storming the training ground attacking the players.
Probably better off moving elsewhere like Osihmen or Mateta if we want a cheaper option.
Just seen Zirkzee enjoying himself on holiday, seems like the guy who will turn up to pre season two stone overweight, so either way we need a number 9 asap.

Doubt osimhen would be cheaper. Demanding huge wages and after the season he's had I think napoli would still demand north of 50-60 million.

Osimhen would be worth a punt at £50-60m. I’d put him in the same bracket as Isak.
