Does Mbuemo work as the sk10 with Rasmus as backup? I know it's not ideal and he's generally on the right for Brentford. Just feel he'd be a fab signing, but can't see how we replace the front three (plus everything else) without Bruno dosh.

Rewz I think there is a massive misconception here with regards to our funds this summer. Apparently we have around £100m-£125m plus sales. Simplistically then cunha at £62m and mbeumo £50m and we are broke however that’s not how it works. Cunha is paid in 3 installments so that’s £20m this summer and mbeumo probably similar so that’s roughly £40m on the summer spend leaving £60m + remaining. I hope I’m right in this thinking if not someone please correct me. Anyways we still need sales which will be hard, sancho now returning, rashford Antony hojlund all only getting loan offers so far. I can see garnacho being the only one that we receive a decent fee for. Guess will just see how things pan out.

DSG, I'm not going to pretend I watch Brentford every week - I don't know if he often plays through the middle as opposed to off the right. If he does, then I'd be preferring him over a few options. Gyokeres remains the ideal no.9 for this club though.

They did fizz but some genius at united agreed to a clause that they could cancel the obligation. Why? And if so then at least make the cancellation fee £10+m. First I’ve ever seen an obligation not go through but there u go.

The 5m is for the wages we covered while he was there.
The agreement was if they don't buy him they need to pick up those wages.
So it's now another spanner to try and shift. Book value circa 12m.

How would it make you feel, United don’t want ya, Chelsea don’t want ya…. But I don’t think that really affects him, he gets paid whatever, what a waste of a talent, proves you seriously need the right attitude to succeed.
To think some posters thought he was the answer way back when we bought him, a quick intricate pass and move player think he was described as. And they also ignored all the warning signs of the attitude problem he had and clearly still got….
Someone please come and buy him…. who I don’t have any idea!

I'm not a fan of Sancho but "greed and delusion" does not come into it. Utd gave him that wage and that contract and why would he take less. He has also had a disagreement with the club so why would he make things easy for them.

Mbuemo would be a great signing. Very talented, but just as importantly going by the way his manager was eulogising about him, is that he seems to have a great character as well. Makes a nice change.
