Good player, but with both Zirkzee and Højlund at the club and with young lads like Wheatley and Obi Martins looking to break into the first team over the next 2-3 years I'm not sure we need another young striker who needs game time to continue his development.

Especially as we typically play with just one striker. Normally at best one gets 60 minutes and another comes on for them for the last 30 minutes. That leaves two (3 if we signed Sesko) not playing.

I don't think we need another striker, certainly not a young one. Maybe there could be an argument for an older (32+) striker who is happy to have a similar role to Evans. Someone who's really there to pass on their experience and help develop the younger lads in training, occasionally playing during an injury crisis.

Agreed that we could use a more experienced player in our pool of strikers, but I'd argue that from what I've seen Sesko is a million miles ahead of what we have already.

Spenno, I wouldn't say that. The Bundesliga is notorious for giving forward players lots of good chances due to the prevalence of transitional styles of play the majority of teams adopt.

Sesko looks a great young player, but I don't think he'd get any more chances or score more than the likes of Højlund and Zirkzee if he was in our team.

Well I guess you’re right then!
