One for 002, does rabiot have a proposal on the table from United?
{Ed002's Note - Nothing acceptable.}

Nothing acceptable ???.

What's he wanting? As he'd make a great free signing.

Weird how these players price themselves out the market. Even if they want £200k a week surely better to accept £100k a week and play regularly rather than £0 and not get a game?

Last big contract Mancman. Probably willing to wait until he gets something close to what he wants.

Mancman
Assuming is not desperate for a pay check given what he has earned to date, why go somewhere at a lot less than what your value is. That's general thing for most people in any professions.
He will wait on a 3 year deal, right club, right wage and sign on bonus. Looks like he turned down mega money to Saudi.
He turned down 170k net euro extension from Juve according to Romano. Real Madrid seem to be getting a lot of injuries atm and some long term ones, would not surprise me if he went there.

His value is what an employer is prepared to pay him not what he thinks he should get. From what you say that's £170k a week although that door might now have shut if Juve have made alternative arrangements. Rabiot is running out of time and I think he needs a club more than a club needs him.
Of course he can take a big money offer from Saudi but then he has to make some serious compromises which his family might say no to.
I'm not just talking about Rabiot. What about de Gea missing a season because he thought he should get £300k a week or something stupid?

MancMan, I think the reality is somewhere in the middle.
Yes an employee is only worth what their employer will pay them. But then what an employer will pay is dependent on their need.
It's a balance. Some clubs will have a greater need for Rabiot, so will offer more money. But it's not just down to money. The fact Rabiot has reportedly turned down big offers from Saudi suggests that he values other things over a big pay day.
I'm sure he'll come to some agreement with a club that he is happy to move to.
From what I've heard DDG not having a club for a year wasn't about not being offered enough money. He has other businesses which brings him income. While the big driver for him to move to Real Madrid was about being back home near his family and to support his wife's career. He now has a young family, and he will make decisions based on what is best for his family and not just his bank account.
I'd imagine his perspective might have changed slightly after a year off. Maybe he missed it more than he thought he would, maybe his Mrs got sick of him getting under her feet at home and told him he needs to get back playing again.

A real problem is his agent. his mum. She never replied to milan with a deal, which wouldn't have been peanuts.
