Does any one know if there is any truth to Kwambala tejecting a contract offer?
Ive never heard of the guy who is the orignal source of the news so unsure if there's any truth.

Dunno if there is any truth in it, but if I was his agent I'd certainly be saying hold tight and see what happens after the transfer window.
He broke through and played a few games last season. Yet the club are throwing out bids for CB's left right and centre right now. With bids reportedly placed for Branthwaite, De Ligt and Yoro all in the past week.
If two of them sign where does that leave Kambwala, especially if one of them is the 18 year old Yoro, a player over a year YOUNGER than Kambwala.
He was also dropped out of the line up as soon as players like Varane, Martinez, Evans and Maguire were back fit.
At least one, probably two, maybe even three of them four will still be here next season along with probably two new CB's.
Where does that leave Kambwala's development, is there a plan for him.
Personally I'd like us to sign 2 CB's this summer with two or three leaving (Varane is gone, plus any of Maguire, Lindelof and Evans) . Personally I'd keep Evans and Lindelof and sell Maguire for as much as possible. While last season Maguire was better than Lindelof, I think we can raise more money selling Maguire, Lindelof seems more content with being a back up player, and Maguire has shown that he can't play with Martinez.
Either way I'd then look to send Kambwala out on loan to develop, so that he can come back and replace whichever CB's remains this summer next summer.
However, the player probably has his own ideas about his development, and will both want to and need to play regularly next season to continue to develop. That either needs to be at United or somewhere else.

If 2 of them sign shappy linder and maguire will no longer be needed
I’m sure kambwala should be thinking I’m 19 let me get my head down and prove I deserve to break into the team more
If that’s not his mentality because we are shopping for cbs then let him leave.

Kambwala has potential. However he lacks experience and with the way Utd were playing last season, it was very difficult to play him when our experienced CBs were fit.
The reality is, Utd should have tied him down to a new contract at the end of the season.
You can understand his position. Evans has been offered a new contract, Lindelof, Maguire are still here and Utd have bid for JB, JCD and LY.
Logically, you'd think without a development plan, why should he stay and sign a new contract. His career and development could hinder.
I'd wait and see what develops first. I think Kambwala has potential, but he is raw and is behind the likes of YL, JB and MDL.

Even if we sign 2 cb's I don't believe we will sell both maguire and lindelof. we are still light and would probably keep one.

Ahmad, I tend to agree.
I expect we'll sign two CB's, extend Evans deal by a year. Add Martinez and Kambwala to that gives us 5 CB options. Although one will be 36, and another 19 with less than a dozen appearances under his belt.
So I can see us keeping one of Maguire or Lindelof then maybe send Kambwala out on loan.
Maybe have options something like this: Martinez, Maguire, MdL, Branthwaite and Evans with Kambwala out on loan.
