Looks like the Glazer's chequebook for new signings is permanently closed. Loan only deals now.

£50m net spend tells us all we need to know. Everything else is just a smokescreen.

At least the parasites may finally be going though!

Whoever buys us next we can only hope they put their own money in.

Nothing wrong with loan deals if you are looking for a short term fix because long term/ ideal targets are not available. sometimes also good to see if the player fits and option to turn many into longer term deal.

I would not read too much into all the press stuff as a lot of it is not accurate or even true. ATM every 2 hours we have a new target that we are buying.

We’ve agreed a £72m fee for FDJ though so what you’re suggesting about having no money is nonsense.

Gds just us looking like we're trying to make big money signings. The reality is we were looking to sell garner to afford rabiot.

The Glazers have never opened THEIR chequebook once just for reference ??.

ed002 said garner is pushing for a move as the club does not have a long term plan for him. Nothing wrong with selling players if they are not going to get to play and want to move to advance their careers, happens all the time. it does not mean we are skinned as some like to suggest.

GDS - we haven’t signed De Jong though have we!

No mate, but do you think we agreed a fee with no money available? The money is there and we should be trying to sign the right players with it, which we won’t.
