Hi Ed, any truth to the story that PSG are after Rashford? If so, is there truth that he is open to moving?
{Ed002's Note - Marcus Rashford (F) has an uncertain future at Manchester United although there has been no final decision. PSG have previously enquired although their interest has drifted away they now have a pressing need again and could look to an offer. He may provide an option for Arsenal who could shift their interest to him. Newcastle and Spurs may well provide options. Right now he would be difficult to sell and perhaps a loan away would benefit him. The club is certainly considering options.}

I would be super happy to see the back of Rashford.
Rashford of the past year has terrible in terms of everything.
The French league will suit as playing is easier there.
Don't think we will miss him.

If there is a cohesive plan on this one then this could turn out best for all concerned. Rashford is a shadow of the player he was and although I would love for him to get back there it is not looking great, he also is not a great fit under EtH.
If we are able to reinvest and get a Gapko or back in for Anthony then this really could work.
I have a feeling we may see a few more rumours like this before the end of the money. AWB, Lindelof and maybe even Van De Beek if he feels it is not going to work.

It would need us to make serious investments in the front three before sanctioning a move. We cat possibly go through the season with just Ronaldo, Martial, Sancho, Elanga and Garnacho.

I can't see it happening. As poor as he's been it will cost the best part of 100 million to get a replacement in, even then the player probably won't want to come.

I don't think they would sell him without having a wink and nod with another attacking option; i. e. Gakpo.
I have a gut feeling that 3 more will come in:
Attacker - Gakpo
Midfielders x2 - SMS, FDJ, Rabiot (two of the three)
I just cannot believe that the weakness in the team for ages (MF) will not be addressed this window.

My gut feeling says this is Rashford's way of getting a fat contract. And most likely we will give it to him like what's happened before.
The club is a total mess.

Dwight yorke is a very good friend of mine and reckons he is our best player. The drop in his form is baffling. 2 years ago looked like he woukd be an elite player as good as any out there. Yorkue btw got his first managerial job down under.

I agree Nothing Changes, 2 years back he bailed us out every other game. Then Ole decided to break the guy playing through injury. And Rashford kept going too.
Got a nasty injury and can't really tell if he is not as fit aa he was before or he's no longer interested in playing here.

Very happy to see Rashford go. We all love him for the extraordinary person he is but he has done nothing in a United shirt for 2 seasons now. Injuries and surgery I appreciate within that but does anyone really think the 19yo Rashford we were all so excited about has fulfilled anywhere near his potential now that he's at the 'completed' age of 24?
The fact his agent has been talking to PSG smacks of either pure wanting to get out or a bargaining chip to strike a better deal. Bottom line he is simply not worth his current deal. If we had any balls as a club we would be offering him a lower contract to stay or preferably just outright saying I'm sorry Marcus but you are just not good enough.

Base contract of 100k a week with performance bonuses to take him up to 200k a week max.
All players should be on a lower basic contract with bonuses.
That's what's wrong with this club for years. players coming here only for money and couldn't give a **** then when they're here.
Should be an incentive for players to get the graft in and get paid more.
Bunch of overpaid, underperforming premadonnas.
