We’re going to end up with Gakpo and Depay, aren’t we?
Definite parallels between Gapko and the version of Depay we first signed. Very highly regarded in Holland ( Dutch player of the year), very left sided (thought we were sorted on that side but hey ho) … clearly another good young player, but hopefully not a leap too soon for him.

My thoughts exactly on Gakpo. Haven't seen anything but YouTube clips but he strikes as being as raw if not more raw then Depay was.
Looks like a low prem level player to me and hope we can do better.

Gaspo is a talent but like everything else not sure if ready for pl. when we originally bought depay i was in a minirity who thought not good enough before he came over. Gaspo is better than depay imo. The only issue is he is more if a winger than a cf.

Agreed that Gakpo looks like a Depay of 5/ 6 years ago. Rather underwhelming.
As for Depay of 2022, I’d like him, but it seems as if he’s off to Juventus.

If we do sign gakpo, hopefully we can send amad on loan to psv. Could be a great move for him.

The first line of this thread, "we're going to end up with Gakpo and Depay", we'll be lucky. The way the muppets that run our club operate, we'll end up with no one else.
I will admit that I am rather pessimistic when it comes to confidence in the way our transfer dealings pan out. Well, the track record isn't great. It took a month for them to sort a free transfer.

Gapko's finishing reminds me of Rashford. Before we seriously linked to him, i tell him Rashford 2.0 and for that image i am actually scared of him being signed for us. don't know if he also sinks during the game and ghost around. But I can't bare another Rashford.

I mentioned gakpro months ago he would be a good signing, young fast, direct, skill full can cross a ball and can finish
These are the types of players we should be signing young players with potential for the manager to develop and turn into winners.
