ridiculous - wasted so much time on him - Sangare/ ruiz/ SMS all are available- 2 of them with known buy out clauses.2 out of those 3 would be far better and cost less than in salaries combined than FDJ.

If FDJ ends up in Chelsea after everything, it will be huge embarrassment for Arnold and Murtough. If that happens, they should be forced out of the club.

Watch chelsea have this wrapped up by the weekend, wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t understand the insistence on this transfer, I get ETH wants him but surely he has others in mind too. This should have been wrapped up or forgotten a month ago. It’s being used as an excuse for lack of other deals also which is laughable, nobody seems to have heard of multi tasking.

H94, all Murtough and Arnold have done is what the manager want's. FDJ is the the foundation upon which ETH wants to build our future and they have delivered an agreement with his club to enable this to take place.
It seems that the manager is the one who is keen to continue the attempt to complete the transfer and the club are, rightly, doing everything to try and deliver on his wishes. ETH is supposedly in contact with FDJ and apparently knows the reality of the situation.
I can imagine the reaction on here if it came out that the club was not doing all it could to get the No 1 target of ETH.

It's sad fans just need to see shiny new tools in the club, irrespective of what the manage wants.

We’ve seen the current tools. We’ve seen most of them for 3 or more years. They’re not shiny and won’t ever be.
Some shiny new tools are needed.
