Ed02 - couple of questions if you don't mind;
1) Do we have any interest in Ibrahim Sangare who we're being linked with this morning?
2) You mentioned Florian Wirtz as a potential target a while back based on suggestions from Rangnick, has any interest in him now left with RR departing?

{Ed002's Note - Ibrahim Sangare (DM) Newcastle are keen on the player and the interest of both Leicester and Southampton remains. The player has said that he does not wish to return to France and wants a move to England. Has been watched by a number of other PL sides including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea who sent an ex-player to take a look at him with two scouts. PSV have no intention of selling and will work hard to avoid a sale.
Florian Wirtz (AM) has admirers in Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Newcastle have a very experienced third party scouting players in Germany for them and have also looked at Wirtz. Has signed a new long-term contract but is playing well and Bayern might well look to an offer in the summer. Bayer Leverkusen will not want to sell and will point to the length of his contract. One for 2023 perhaps - and then both Real Madrid and Barcelona may well be offering an option to him. An ACL injury will end any chance of a move this summer.}

Hi ED002,
Out of the current targets for Utd whi do you think are the obtainable targets that the club should pursue?
With FDJ, it would seem about pointless to try and buy a player who isn't interested in joining the club. I'd feel it would be another Pogba scenario for the club.

Caolan, interesting player. Lots of energy and well balanced all round midfielder. As likely to be putting in a well timed tackle, scoring, assisting, or doing a ridiculous bit of skill to open up a team. Really likes hitting that through the eye of a needle pass. A complete No.8 (box to box midfielder) .
Potentially a top top player, Pep said some good things about him around the time City played Sporting in the UCL if I remember correctly.
He'd be an upgrade on both of McTominay and Fred. Although I'd argue that his position isn't one of most need in our squad. We have McTominay and Fred who can play as No.8's, Bruno and Donny who can play as No.10's, along with Garner and Hannibal who can play at No.8 and No.10. What we don't have is anyone who can play at No.6. I think we either need two No.6's or at least two players capable of playing at No.6 or we need to consider playing a shape that doesn't require a No.6 such as 343.
