There is a suggestion that we have reached a agreement with timber. Can any of the eds give much light on this and what would a suggested transfer figure be if ajax were willing to sell?
I know they are speculative questions but it is a rumour site so surely speculation is what is expected ??

Sorry Ed, to be clear, they would be alright to approach the agent to discuss preliminary interest, and basic info via the agent/ representative but not the player directly. Right? Sounds like those reports are not knowledgeable and incorrectly stating agreement with player. Surely they only approached the agents and now that the season is over they will talk to Ajax.

That's crazy, what happened to keeping things above board? I know in the past contact was made through agents and that seemed to be acceptable. We have a good relationship with Ajax hopefully this doesn't effect that but i also hope we get him.

My understanding is that clubs are always talking to various agents about many players. Do any transfers get completed without with club speaking to agents first and knowing their is at least interest from the player and a deal possible before approaching the clubs?
