Captain of Lazio so obviously has some leadership qualities which is what we need. Great on the ball. Always an option if Pogba left. How is he not what we need when our midfield is so weak and will be weaker by the end of the summer? I'd say we need all the help we can get. It's what ETH wants. If he wants him then good, if not then we move on.

I did read that this isn’t true and that he’s another Gaitan / Schneider that we will be forever linked with. But what do I know!

He’s a much more attack minded player these days, what we need in midfield is of a defensive nature.

We don’t score enough goals and we concede too many. Our needs are great in every position. The midfield, in particular, is in a dire condition.

Agreed, worst midfield Utd have had in my lifetime anyway and one of the weakest in the division, which is saying something. I hope we can grab a few understated midfielders who work their socks off and aren't more interested in their haircuts and social media followers. A couple of Konrad Laimers would do the job.

Would love savic at United, got bt sports and watch a lot of Italian footy. Every time Lazio play he stands out a mile, is a top player. Seria A has been great this season, going to the wire. atmosphere in the San Siro on Sunday afternoon looked fantastic.
