Italian journalist Fabio Santini reporting Koulibaly will be a United player in the summer.
Deal finalised for 60m by all parties.
He seems quite reliable as he reported about Ancelotti to Everton.

Would be a strange one of true. BOTH Maguire and Koulibaly prefer to play on the left hand side of a centre back pairing. Seems odd to spend another huge fee on a player who plays the exact same position as a player we spent 80m on last summer.
Also 60m is a long way short of the 100m+ they have demanded every other time a club has come in for Koulibaly.
Personally looking at our squad and what we need I would put both Fabian Ruiz and Milik ahead of Koulibaly as Napoli players we should sign.

Koulibaly is far better than the very very average Maguire who hasn't really improved us.

I feel Koulibaly can be a fantastic partner for Maguire.
He has pace and power. Both stand at 6ft 5.
60m seems not too bad for a proven CB in today's market.

Unless we look to go to a 3 shappy. Lindelof, Maguire and koulibaly. Let’s say Poch comes in, he did like to play that formation so that makes more sense.

they turned down 102 mill in the summer say some reports. can only see it being right if it's 60 mill plus Phil jones- Napoli have seen Smalling this season and thought if that boy jones is half as good.

It unlikely however if it is true none of us should moan. Most were calling for him in the summer.
Always questions around if a purchase is the right fit but he would absolutely improve our defense no matter who he is paired with.
