There is a rumour that Real Madrid might want to sent Luka Jovic on loan - maybe they already want to get rid of.
@Ed. (Assuming he can join us in the next transfer window) can you see Jovic alongside martial and rashford up front? Can it work?

It was actually reported a few weeks back that Perez was looking at jose and pogba woukdnt be part of the long term plan .

I think the 27m + James Rodriguez bid proved how little an appetite Real Madrid had for seriously pursuing Pogba.
The fact that they are now seriously exploring a deal for Neymar shows that the money is there if they really want a player. I think it also shows that the manager doesn't dictate the signings at Real Madrid.
In which case does it really matter how much Zidane wants Pogba, if other people at the club don't want him then he won't go there.
I think this summer was his real chance to go to Real Madrid. I think he might have missed it, unless he has a storming season this year and proves himself to be a "Galactico".

And yet in the run up to deadline day people were pointing to Madrid as an example of how to do a rebuild. Now we're talking potential change of manager who probably won't like some of the players.

Just saying that's what a few people on here saying. That Madrid had identified players and moved quick to get them in and lamenting that we hadn't done the same. I think we had s good window. I'd have liked another midfielder to add depth but wasn't to be.
