BBC reporting Lukaku to Inter will not happen.

Not if they can't meet Uniteds valuation.

Same goes for any club we had to meet wb valuation.

Lukaku is under contract.

Speaking of the Beeb. How come, everyday during the season, they have a transfer talk page. Then when the transfer window is actually flipping open, they stop doing it.

Lukaku should stay and fight for his place,

We can moan when we sell players cheap seemingly always and then want players gone no matter what, club has a valuation and then they will negotiate.

Unfortunately we probably overpaid for Lukaku, and may have to accept that his value has not risen while at the club.

Apparently inter wouldn't consider skriniar in a deal to any club but they want RL and at a lower fee than we want. Easy choice: make skriar a part of the deal if man utd are willing or pay the rate for RL. After all they stuck to their valuation on perisic .

{Ed002's Note - Nonsense I am afraid. Playing on Twitter again?}

Southern Monkey, the Beeb's transfer page hasn't stopped. I read it on the app every day. I think it's been shunted to the bottom of the website due to the women's World Cup.

Ed 002 - not on twitter I'm afraid.
Been a long time admirer of Skriniar who "apparently " is not available; various reports and probably wrong, and was simply stating it would imo, be a good deal to involve a player that could be a more attractive option to us and go someway to easing defensive frailties. Wishful thinking ed002,

{Ed002's Note - There has been no attempt of MU to do that.}

The club should not sell its assets cheaply but there comes a time when holding on makes not much business sense if it means retaining a player who is not going to get game time and whose salary is taking up needed space. If that's the case for Lukaku then £60m would at least be a profit on the residual book value and £5m a year off the wages bill. That's a lot of conjectures and we have no idea what's going on, or even whether there are any serious talks or with whom. In any event we should trust Ed Woodward. We all know he has amazing expertise in the transfer market.

Icardi booted off the pre season tour so he could be going leaving a space and some money for Lukaku.
