I know it was only 1 game but thought Zirkzee was impressive on Saturday, technically a very good player that can link up well with mbeumo and cunha on either side.
Appreciate we have bought Sesko in but think Zirkzee will get a lot of minutes to take the burden off him.
Also Mazraoui impressed off the bench, another player who improves the team technically, should start for me as the right centre half, with yoro moving over to the left.

Guessing that’s why we let Hojlund move on DSG as they felt Zirkzee was a better fit and player.

Zirkzee is a good option in games against top teams. He drops into midfield to help out, and effectively move the ball on for counter attacks. I think he’s a better player than people gave him credit for last season, but he isn’t a striker.

I would have preferred we kept McTom rather than buy Zirkzee. McTom was also a goal threat. Maybe we've been watching different players but it seems to me that Zirkzee often has a poor first touch and looks a little slow.
