Looks like just a backup keeper will be added today. He's young and untested, can't see him going straight into the team, especially as the first two games are City and Chelsea.
A midfielder (or two) is what was really needed. Lack of investment in that area is likely to cause more issues than goalkeeper.
Can't help thinking they should have only signed one new number 10 and spent in midfield instead.
Time will tell I guess.

If he shows in training that he deserves it I think he starts.
Wouldn't be surprised if one of bayindir or onana moves on in next few days.

We have plenty of players to play there. Ugarte cost us 55 mill last year and everyone wanted him. Mainoo is a great talent and sinful we are not developing him properly and he is being shoe horned into something he is not.
This has been an outstanding window imo.
