Tammy Abraham going to turkey on loan with an obligation for 13 million. wouldn't he be worth a punt up front for us?
01 Jul 2025 06:21:51
Nope.

Rather have father Abraham.
01 Jul 2025 08:50:15
No, he has been okay in Italy but not exactly lit it up.
We need to be patient, we do not know what is going on behind the scenes and I am sure that the next week building up to the start of pre season training we will see some developments.

Shows how far we have fallen when people want the likes of Abraham
I even seen someone post about Keane as a striker option ??….

Even if he was a better player, he can’t stay fit.

I'd rather have Robbie Keane than (I assume) Moise Kean.

Moise dyan would be more prolific . and he only had one eye. . one for the kids there.

We seem to be linked with several players who shall we say are a little elderly. Names such as Watkins (30 in December), Calhanoglu (31) and even Gyokeres (27) who are not ancient but are also not cheap. Such an outlay for players such as these does not represnt good business. They can offer short term gain for big money. One player I feel that we should definitely sign is Nmecha who has the potential to have the same impact as Rhodri or Viera. He has the drive, poise, passing ability and physicality to have a real influence in our midfield.

Steady on Jodler, if they're elderly then I'm medieval.
Unfortunately, it's where we are - unappealing to many a young star with ambition to play at the highest level, but attractive to the, ahem, elderly ? (plus their agents) seeking a nice fat payday from a club that might have earned itself a reputation as being a little bit daft.
Nmecha would be a good signing, but one I simply cannot see happening. I think we'd be better served looking at Hackney or Javi Guerra.
{Ed077's Note - Is Hackney a DM type player? Well a simpler way to put it would be: Can he work as a partner in the midfield 2 with Bruno?

Ed077
I think all 3 are versatile midfielders who can each hold their own in the holding role, Hackney might actually be the best suited.
For me, it's more a need for numbers in midfield.
Mainoo is an immense talent who, imo, should share the No8 role with Fernandes - fixtures dictating which one plays, but he is finding it a real challenge fitting RA's pivot system. Then we have Mount who, despite being a baller, has had significant injury/ fitness issues since arriving.
We've recently lost McTominay and Eriksen so I think we're currently a bit light in flexible midfielders.
Ugarte, Casemiro and Collyer are decent options at 6, but only Collyer has the legs to offer enough when Fernandes goes on a wander - is he enoughl
{Ed077's Note - Has anyone watched much of HH ??
