So, let's say we get to sell Garnacho and Antony and at least loan out Sancho for a decent % of his final contract year cost, loan out Hojlund, and end up keeping a potentially reconciled, more realistic as to his own worth and rejuvenated Rashford with Cunha and Mbuemo coming in as new forwards. how would that work? Rashford may never be the quality of player he seems to have come to think he is in his own mind, but wouldn't that array of forward power (along with Amad) be an improvement on these last couple of years.

Rashford is as disruptive as Garnacho and Sancho. The manager gave him chances, and he didn’t learn. He needs to be sold for the good of the squad.
{Ed077's Note - the fact that no one has really come running after Rashford, for 2 windows now is an indication enough for me, on him as a player and his current state.

If there was any way back for Rashford we wouldn't have loaned him out in January without even considering a replacement lol.
We spent 6 months with absolute dross up front that aren't even fit to lace rashfords boots (not saying Rashford is amazing but Hojlund, Zirkzee and Mount are absolute dross in comparison) .
I think moves will open up for him later in the summer, the club just has to be more realistic with its fee expectations, around £10-£20m. You can’t publicly isolate a player and then expect to get £40-£50m for him especially on his wages.

I think it's more an indication that no-one can afford to pay him £350k a week. I'm sure he'd otherwise have his suitors.

We shouldn't even entertain giving Rashford another chance.
Like Danny said he's extremely disruptive and has been given chance after chance. I will be glad to see the back of him.
I think he's actually embarrassing himself hoarding himself out to Barcelona when it's quite clear they don't want him, in fact it looks like we will struggle to get rid of him because nobody seems to be interested.

Also if we get a good striker in I would keep Hoijlund. With less pressure and better players around him I think he will come good.

Exactly, Ed. That's my point. It's maybe the dose of reality that Rashford needs in order to get back to work. It may well not happen - I'm skeptical myself - but there remains a possibility that if stops sulking and believes he finally has team mates up front who are not kids with limited potential, and who will make him look better, that he'll get stuck in and finally get his head in the right place to contribute more. Rashford is by no means a great player. He has a limited array of talents, but even then he should be able to contribute 10-20 goals a season plus provide some assists.

Exactly Ed, that tells its own story……. with Rashford…kid got problems in his own head.
Same reason I have my concerns over Gyokores no one busting a door down for him, it would seem although different issue than Rashford clearly….

How do we know who is busting down a door for who? Right now I would imagine many teams are looking at their striker options and trying to work out how to sign someone.

I have no issue with Rashford, he is a good footballer and a good person. I believe he also returned to club training, I haven't seen him put up or say anything negative about the club at any point.
His journey at this club unfortunately ran it's natural conclusion. The club has been a mess for years now and he has been through every manager post fergie barring moyes. The club have let him down more than he every let us down in my opinion.
As for 'no suitors'. It is not an indicator for his footballing abilities and what he can bring to a team but the overall cost. There aren't many clubs out there that can afford someone like Marcus. Those that can had other priorities.
Best of luck to him in his pursuit of another club, he is a fine young man that for some reason rattles people on here big time.
