Garnacho wearing a villa top with rashford on it on instagram. what a total ?end he is. Problem is he wants to stay England so that narrows the options. Really hope he's gone next year, rashford and sancho with him. If they aren't and they are around the squad the only negativity and media leaks will follow.

Agree4 Disagree0

Really can't wait til those three are out of the club. Would trade "em for a packet of Skips and a Mars bar at this point.

Rather like the incumbent leader of a particular country itching to start an international war based on a BS pretext, this projecting of discontent amongst players with egos far greater than their skillsets is frustratingly predictable.

Let him go to Villa, let the little boy learn that shutting his stupid mouth and knuckling down is the only way to compensate for what he's currently too arrogant to believe he lacks.

Looks like he's trying to wind the management up so they want rid of him quicker and lower the asking price to do so.
He could be a smashing player and had the potential to be a legend at the club but believes in his own hype, rather than letting the football prove it. Pogba was the same and never became the top player he so could have been. Sadly it looks like Garnacho is on the same path.

I don't understand why young players are so badly advised. I fear that he will turn out to be a really top player and in some ways we will regret his departure. That said the team and club should always be bigger than one player.

What worries me is that we again won't maximise the revenue we should from sales of him Sancho and Rashford because they seem to have the upper hand knowing Utds financial mess.

Their sales may drag on for weeks which will presumably have a knock on effect on new players coming in. This limits the choice of player RA gets and gives him less time than he would like to bed them into his preferred style of play. With Arsenal City Liverpool Newcastle and Villa all having settled teams with good players it makes the managers task really difficult.

Salford that's exactly what rashford sancho and garnacho are trying to achieve.
They know exactly what they are doing. They have contracts so either way they are secured their wage. They will lose a year of their career at worst playing in our reserves and eating alone that will be 2 years for sancho?
It looks to me like they are trying to force the club into low sales price knowing our predicament.
It's their perogative as they have a contract but to me it looks pretty short sighted.
They are being pushed out and will only go on their terms as a result.
Your right it makes wilcox and ra's job a lot more difficult. I reckon the 3 players don't think they owe the club any favours.
2 of them are on massive wages that the club can't just stick them in the reserves for a season.
I'll put my money down now and say all 3 will be playing in Italy next season. I might be wrong but I think rashford will end up in either Milan club at sancho at juve garna at napoli.
To quote ed002 (may he be resting in peace) "the Italian clubs love a bit of horse trading" and I can see them proposing deals that with fit all. Loans sales or swaps / players going other way.
Maybe Barcelona will take rash and offer us a player we have interest in.
Ideally they find cash buyers for all 4 of them. But I suspect to see a bit of creativity it might only be short term and be kicking the can down the road but nobody wants to see them here on sep 1st least of all themselves. It's a game of brinkmanship and its not for the feint hearted. Time for calm heads at the club and for the fans. This is a very complicated spiders Web that the management have to untangle and get through.
In my opinion the club will come out worst of the 3 parties and the players will do very well and buying clubs will all do well off any deal.
The finances involved and the amount of grubby hands looking for their share compounds the difficulty.

I agree Ken. I would offer Sancho plus £20m to Juve in exchange for Douglas Luiz and Vlahovic.

Or

Offer Garna/ Sancho plus £30m to Napoli for Osimhen

Two or three good players in and two out plus wages bill should not be too badly hit

As a point of principle I would not sell Rashford to Barca.

23 Jun 2025 20:56:31
Barca likely wouldn’t take Rashford on a free. They have issues with wages and I doubt Rashford is going to play for under 200k.
Sancho + £20m is roughly £40m, both Vlahovic and Luiz could likely sell for around that amount each.
Garna + £30m might get Osimhen though.

I really liked Luiz when at villa not worked for him at juve but his Mrs signed for juve ladies i wonder could the ladies team sign her keep them all happy??
Good midfielder I'd like to see him sign.
Swaps are difficult but reciprocal trading can work. We've seen Liverpool do it with leverkusen.

24 Jun 2025 06:49:36
Jeeeez Ken your have the ladies teams up in arms with that remark, so your saying ladies teams don’t matter just use them as a sweetener for the men’s teams to get what they want…. sign someone they may not even want just so the men’s team gets a player they want…. Wow brave statement in 2025.

German, ‘realistic’ as ever ?. You always see a negative.
