Now I know we've only sealed Cunha so far but my word if we get Mbuemo and Gyokeres as well, I might even get excited for a game again.
Last season, I felt like oppositions only really had to worry about Fernandes and Amad (Garnacho to a lesser extent) . But with Cunha, Mbuemo, Gyokeres, Amad and Fernandes (from deep) there is suddenly so much for defenders to worry/ think about.
Just having someone that knows where to be when a cross comes in will convert so many draws into wins. Too many times did we see a ball flashed across the six yard box and Hojlund half a yard too slow to react.
Smaller squad needed next year due to no Europe as well which might be a blessing in disguise.
Will this be the year where we see the turnaround? I don't think 21's coming but if we have some good attacking football I'll be happy! (Better days coming)

Only time I saw the ball flashed across the 6 yard box was when hoylund himself was crossing it. But I would also be delighted with that change to our front line. I would also be happy to have hoylund coming on from the bench amd pushing gyokeres. We had no plan B last year, every bench looked stronger than ours. Our defense was not the worst last year, our attack certainly was.

I just want to see the no-fear approach to football return to the club.
Cunha isn't afraid to get into a scrap, neither is Mbeumo. Gyokeres is a real handful - physical, quick, good movement, doesn't get sucked into pull-your-shorts-down contests.
On the flanks we might see variety. Amad is a real baller who loves to get at people. Leon could well become an absolute animal. Dorgu and Dalot are similarly robust and versatile players who each offer perhaps more discipline in defensive situations. Amass is a steady blend on the left.
If we were to get Mbeumo and Gyokeres, we might only need the injury gremlins and lack of cohesion to be sorted to have a decent season.
We must all consider the advantages of a proper preseason, we might actually all be happily surprised by what Amorim achieves in his first full season with the club.
Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.

I think the two attacking players were in for, and the one we’ve already signed, show that Amorim has recognised that creating chances and taking them have been a massive issue.
We’ve been almost completely reliant on Bruno to create chances. In the system, the two number 10s are supposed to be the biggest creative influences. But for us, they’ve been almost non-existent. Even Bruno seems to create more from deeper. Having players that can operate in that space will help the team be a lot more dangerous going forward, and having a clinical finisher should encourage them to get the ball into the box too.
From what I’ve seen, Amorim’s system works when the wing backs and number 10s drag the defence out of position. Those players will give him a much better chance to get it working. However, I’m still not convinced that the defence is good enough. Especially with Onana in goal.

Ork, Dalot offers very little defensively or offensively. He should be on the outgoing list.

I think he will play a back up role this season at rwb. 100% profit player if an offer came in of 30m plus I'm sure they would take it.

Unless we buy a RWB which I can’t see happening he is 1st choice, every manager we had he been playing whenever fit, so there must be something there, that’s for sure.
