Striker, we must score goals. Quoting without looking it up but recall reading we conceded only 7 more goals than Newcastle but look at what we scored. It’s been scoring goals that’s been a major issue and the club left RA with nothing to score goals.
We also need a goalkeeper and a midfield player.
I read an interesting article on using Heaven in midfield but RA will know best.
Personally a front three of Cunha MBueno and Gyokeres should cause the opposition some real issues.

I think we create some good goal scoring opportunities at 0-0 and also in the first 20 minutes of games but fail to take them. This leads to pressure on the defence and the goalkeeper and then also the strikers the longer the game goes on. Goals change matches and if we can start taking these chances, I think we could then manage games better so I would, out of a choice of 1 or the other go for a striker. That's not to say Onana doesn't need replacing though because he absolutely does but I think that's the bonus transfer this summer.

Defensive midfield means we have a solid base to attack from. Too often teams ran through our midfield. Get that sorted and the attacking midfielders and wing backs that RA likes to play with can attack and press the opposition with confidence.
