The biggest problem, aside from our toxic fan base forcing out our best players, is our transfer strategy to replace these players. In January we knew we needed to get Amorim a Left wing back. So what did we do? Bought an unproven RWB from a midtable Italian team. Now Alvaro fernandes is off to Madrid. Why are we buying Cunha and Mbuemo? Don't get me wrong, I'm excited as many will be at the quality of player we're looking at. But we already have Bruno for CAM. With Mount and Zirkzee as backup. And at RW we already have Amad. Cunha and Mbuemo are great, but are definitely not more talented than the two we already have. We need a striker, a Holding Mid and a LWB. We need to sign either Ohsimen or Gyorkeres. Alvaro fernandes or elanga for the left side. Baleba at CDM. Instead we're buying for positions we already have. If we're dropping Bruno deeper, we will definitelly need to buy a CDM to accommodate him. If we buy MBuemo we're stunting Amads growth, but he deserve to have that RW spot in my opinion. Just makes little sense.

As soon as you said we’re buying players we don’t need I stopped reading.
We lacked goals and have already gone in for 2 of the highest scoring players in the prem who can play the 10 roles.
A position where we have Garnacho, Rashford, sancho and Antony who will all be leaving.
We’re going in the right direction.

Cunha and Mbuemo are paid for out of the scheduled summer budget.
Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Garnacho are certain to leave, perhaps with Casemiro and Hojlund too.
Once those sales come in, THAT’S when we’ll be going out and spending on the other positions that you mention are required. Relax.

Check Our goals for column for last season and you'll see why Cunha and Mbeumo are needed. Amad is better running from a deeper position. Dorghu is for the LWB position.

More goal power was definitely required. Cunha and Mbuemo are excellent additions. A goal-scoring striker, a physically strong centre midfielder who can link defence and attack and a right wing back are essentials.

Mount and Zirkzee aren’t the answer. Plus we need squad depth.
You’ve got to remember that these players got us to 15th in the league last season.
I do agree on Amad though, I’m not convinced he’s suited to the RWB position. Who knows though. We don't see these guys in training.

If we get Mbeumo confirmed, i think the next biggest priority is a great CDM like Nmecha.

LWB: Dorgu, Amass, Leon, maybe Shaw
RWB: Amad, Dalot
CM: Fernandes, Nmecha, Mainoo, Kone, Maybe Cas and collyer
LAM: Cunha, Mount
RAM: Mbeumo, maybe lacey.
CF: Zirkzee, Chidi
Also fernanders, mainoo, amad can play lam or ram, cunha and Mbeumo can play CF.
Already looks like a much better squad.
