To add to the numerous Bruno in or out threads below. I believe almost all of us want him to stay, but if he wants to go and we will get the rumored 100mil then I am in the let him leave camp.
We moved on as a cub when Beckham left, when Ruud left, when Cr& left, when Giggs and Scholes retired. Why should this be any different?

I think this really is a stick or twist moment for the club and also for Fernandes and his own personal career. If the rumoured fee is true and we can get north of £100M for a nearly 31 year old then it is really hard to suggest we shouldn't cash in, we will never get that fee for any of our players for a long time and if Fernandes stays then he needs to stay for the next 3 years minimum as it means he is part of this new rebuild.

It's whether the club can be trusted to invest the money wisely which is questionable but also when you think of his goal/ assists stats, imagine how much better they will be if we can stick a decent striker infront of him as well as Cunha. I think it's a real tough decision and you just have to trust Amorim on this one.

It's not up to amorim.

Well, he will have a say in it, same as it was regarding Garnacho and Amorim telling him he needs to find a new club.

It's only up to the player Ken, that is correct. If he wants to go then all arguments mean nothing.

If it was the clubs choice to sell, then it's different but I believe the club and coach really want him to stay.

MBD when all those players you mentioned above left, the club was already in a title winning state. Luckily we had other leaders in the team. We don't anymore hence the reason why hanging onto Bruno is so much more important.

One huge massive difference from when Becks left Keane left, RVN etc left, then we had a winning team with many other winners in the team and squad and bigger than that was a huge draw for new signings, nowadays we are not a draw, we got no European football, we got a team of misfits we got no quality in the squad, we got owners no one likes we got minority owner who is crucifying the United name……we are running on empty, so a million miles from when we replaced any of those names you mentioned.

If we had a team that was performing and had quality players littered through the team it would be an easy decision to let Fernandes go. we are obviously not in that position which is why I think Amorim wants him to stay. He is his general and leader on the pitch to get his message out and will forgoe that he does not quite fit his style.

I personally think he wants to stay, however the money on offer may just be too good to turn down and this may well be the only time it is offered.
