Obviously de ligt has captained at a young age, but if it was me I’d give it to yoro. doesn’t always have to be someone experienced but I would expect it to be casimiro if Bruno was to leave and casimiro stays.

Shappys finally lost it. Seriously though, looknacross the team. We don't have a clear leader that can be trusted tonact, play and lead as a captain such based a Robson, Keane, Neville, Vidic, Rooney.
A captain could emerge. I've also got a hope that Ugarte comes good after his settling season, just as Ince, Pallister, Evra, Keane, and others did. In Fergies wra it was often part of the narrative that players needed a year to bed in and find themsleves as a part of the team, very few cane and settled straight away, Cantona is the forst player I remember arriving and looking like he owned the place from day one and that changed the future of the club. It will happen again.

I don’t think Shappy was serious tbh. We need to shift Onana out and get a decent keeper. RA doesn’t need a play maker in goal.
Captain is tough. I keep looking at the No7 shirt, once filled by some of our greatest and see Mount. Either he comes of age this season and maybe captaincy material or we need new blood in the 7 shirt.

No wonder this club has become a laughing stock. He should have been out the door years ago. Stays injured throughout the year and miraculously back for cup finals and world cups.
Maguire needs to be gone too. He’s still awful. Think the hype on how he’s improved shows how much we’ve settled on mediocrity.
