A few years ago a few of us speculated whether we would accept relegation to get rid of the Glazers. We have seen this season, us get as close to that as we would like to go. However, the Glazer leeches are presently sat there with no golden goose Champions league cash cow, no European football next season and can see the need to spend money to even get closer to it. Will they be able to get the dividends they crave anytime soon? . Will the dividends, if any, be large enough?
Is this the near miss and potential future cash shortage that actually makes the Glazer leeches consider selling up in full. Could we get a benevolent owner who pays the debt off, let's us trade without the noose round our necks. If so, if they sell and we get a benevolent owner, what a great season it would have been.

The bigger picture.

They want to rake in money from the regeneration and new stadium. Why would they leave? They are making a fortune and it doesn't even matter if we are un successful. Shirt sales will still be strong next year. Amorims jumper sells out while the team is sinking. Full stadium.

Oh so not the system this time, let’s blame the Glazers, you wanted SJR you got him, now he is problem too, someone new comes in and things on pitch don’t go right, let’s blame them.
Glazers gave 600 million to ETH he blew the lot and not one player any good, the Glazers have always released funds for players, ok the accounts don’t make good reading, but it’s business and really that makes not much difference to the performances on the pitch.
There are problems at the club, but thinking oh get the Glazers out and they all go away is just plain ridiculous.

Fair point Red Man. The footballing side of Utd has been poor this season and income would definitely drop for your club without European football to play next season. But Utd are still a cash cow in of itself and I'm not sure they have fully squeezed it dry yet. As long as there remains money to be made for themselves, I think they'd stay.

The only money the Glazers can take out of Utd is in dividends, and those are now only paid when we make a profit, which over the last few years hasn’t happened, and is unlikely over the next few, especially if there is a stadium to pay for.
The value for the Glazers is now only what they can sell it for, they wanted a record amount for a sporting club, they will not get that in its current state, so while financial it costs them nothing to just sit in Florida and wait, they will expect their stooge SJR to do all the dirty work and he is daft enough to do it.

You like to quote on past quotes on here, however, above you said “ you wanted SJR you got him, now he is problem too”. You are very very very wrong. I wanted the Sheikh, made that very clear on here. I called SJR the rat for enabling the Glazers to stay.
If you seriously don’t think the Glazers have done serious damage to this club then business wise you are clueless. The debts have been a millstone round our necks for over 20 years. We suffer PSR issues and one major issue is the debt costing £60m a year to service.
You said the Glazers gave ETH money, clueless. The Glazers have not put one cent into the club, not one. The club gave ETH money whilst those slithering leeches have made Billions. I have been consistently anti Glazer since they arrived because I understood the financial implications of the transaction. I have said the same since I came on here 15 years ago. You need to better understand what they have done.

Not the old everything would be rosy without the Glazers again the same Glazers who spent nearly 700 million for the last dummy in the dugout was it the Glazers fault he opted to play with no midfield? I couldn't care less about them taking dividends i'd do the same its a business not a charity. I only care about the action on the pitch which has been garbage under TH and worse under Amo a lot of clubs would be buzzing with the Glazers as owners giving unlimited funds to every dummy they hire if only they could pick a good manager maybe time fans looked at the players and managers making a fool of them with there ridiculous chat get on there backs instead of giving them a free pass waving the daft green and gold yes they're not good owners but could be a lot worse me personally i blame Amos 1 dimensional ideas for this seasons disaster he'd best get of to a good start nxt yesr or be bye bye.

Brum boi, grow up! The Glazers have not spent a single penny/ dime of their own money. Wake up and smell the coffee boi!

Red Man, it's a wonderful dream but I wake up and nothing has changed. But one can dream.

Red man your just being facetious, ok under the Glazers we have spent money, I am fully aware it’s not there own money…. and quite frankly please don’t get all personal and derogatory stating I am clueless in business, plus get of your high horse for one minute I made a comment in general, it did not mention your name, so was not directed directly to you, but if you want to see it that way then fine.
Did ETH not spend 600 million, was the Glazers not in overall control of the business which is United, think you will find both those 100% YES is every player ETH bought under his stewardship as your being so pedantic all useless and all not suited to the team or league…. probably yes
So take a breath and think first.

Fizz they've spent a fortune on players 2nd highest wage bill in the league they've allowed rotten managers to rip the soul out of the club tho lower expectations till avoiding relagation is seen as a tidy season i wish they would sell as well get a proper ambitious board in place but let's be honest there hopeless so how can the managers they pick be any better lucky bag finds TH Ole Amo we stick by them as well like the world will end if we sack them hoping blindly time and hundreds of millions will turn them in to Ancelloti its no happening these guys are chancers clowns who no serious club would touch with a bargepole shouldve got Southgate good steady hand if he'd got say Belgium to numerous finals/ semis while introducing young players like Bellingham Saka while having a sexy foreign name UTD fans wouldve been creaming there pants over him.
